New Beginning..... 1

There is a new beginning in my life ... whats that?? no no ... its not the girl I am talking about.

Well, I've always been interested in being self employed or business owner, entrepreneur (good words aye?) but I reckon now is a time to start up with something. I have tried number of times to start up on my own, but always had hurdles to overcome; thats life. Its tough ... and not piece of cake, but hope it works. Its been a while since the the concept was concived in my brain, but I have started working on it only since a month.

Description: This is a common nightmare among all ages, even for people who usually don't drive. In this dream, you are usually in or near a car or some other type of vehicle which goes out of control. Description: This dream is often seen by those who have been out of school for a long time. In this dream you are prevented from passing a test in diverse circumstances. In one scenario, you find that you are unprepared to undergo the test either because you have not prepared for it or because you are missing the necessary equipments needed to sit for the exam. In another scenario you may find that you can't answer any of the questions or that the test is in some unknown language. You can also not complete the exam within the stipulated time or find that you are late in arriving at the exam hall. All these factors contribute to you failing this test. Monika Tomar, a content writer with a MNC, says, "I get this dream periodically. It's usually college and I've blown a class off for almost the entire semester and once the finals come I have to find a map and locate the room like it's my first day there."

Interpretation: Such dreams highlight your frustration and depression. It usually means that you are feeling tested in life and may experience the fear of not being accepted. It could even imply not being prepared to face challenges or not being good enough. You are worried that you are not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations. "To dream that you are taking an exam indicates that you are being put to the test or being scrutinised in some way. These dreams also suggest that you are feeling unprepared for a challenge. Interpretation: This dream is related to your life and it means that you are emotionally hurt or are afraid of being hurt. "This dream may work as a warning for you to make you aware of an upcoming physical risk to yourself or a loved one. When it is someone else in the dream who dies, it can mean that you feel that part of yourself (that you see represented by that person) is also dead. It may also mean that you wish the person would go away or that you fear losing them," interprets Anuj.

Being chased

Description: Dreaming about being chased is also a commonly experienced nightmare. Most often the chaser in the dream is a monster or some person who is frightening; occasionally it may be an animal. Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but often leave the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. It is also worth noting that sometimes this dream is a replay of an actual event in your life. Atul Kulkerni, a student, says, "When I was young I used to have nightmares about being chased. Usually I was chased by two lions and I would be running away from them towards my house, but I could never reach the door no matter how hard I'd try."

Interpretation: This type of dream often results from stress. In this type of dream you feel frightened, attacked and in danger. If you dream of being chased by someone you know, this person is somehow contributing to your anxiety. If you dream of being chased by a stranger, it's possible that the stranger represents some aspect of yourself. "Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment, therefore 'chase dreams' represent your way of coping with fear or stress. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it", explains Anuj.

Bad or missing teeth

Description: Teeth dreams usually involve the discovery of extremely decayed or missing teeth in your own mouth. Common dream scenarios include having your teeth crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just a light tap. Priti Singh, a call centre executive, recalls, "Five years back, I would constantly dream about my teeth falling out. And not just falling: they actually crumble into much smaller pieces, and I end up spitting the pieces throughout my dream. I was seeing that dream so often that I actually went and talked to someone about it, and they told me it could mean that I wasn't feeling nurtured or loved by those around me."

Interpretation: What does it mean when we dream about missing teeth? At the most basic level it means that we are afraid of being looked upon as unattractive. At a deeper level, it can signify a fear of embarrassment or loss of power in real life. "Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and our teeth play an important role in conveying that image. The dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Another rationalization for falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation", explains Anuj.

Falling or sinking

Description: We have all had falling dreams. This is the most common dream, and is sometimes accompanied by muscle jerks, which may jolt you awake. In such dreams we are usually falling through the air and are extremely frightened. Occasionally we may be sinking in water and in danger of drowning. Shradha Singh, customer care executive, says" I often dream that am floating or have the ability to levitate, sometimes with a great sense of power other times with powerlessness."

Interpretation: Dreams of falling often arise from the fear of losing control. A person who is having this dream is either insecure or lacks support in real life. If you have this dream you should evaluate your current situation and try to identify the problem. "Falling is an indication of insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties. Sometimes when we have these dreams, your whole body jerks or twitches and we wake up. This happens because falling or sinking dreams typically occur during the first stage of sleep and the dreams in this stage are often accompanied by muscle spasms of the arms, legs, and the whole body. This jerking action is part of an arousal mechanism that allows the sleeper to awaken and become alert and responsive to possible threats in the environment," says Dr. Anuj.

Description: In this type of dream you are rushing to catch a bus, train, plane or other type of public transport, but you miss it generally by a fraction of second. You feel frustrated rather than afraid in these dreams. In a variation of this theme, you arrive very late for a performance in which you are supposed to participate and find that the event has already begun.

Interpretation: "Travel images often signify an emotional journey of discovery and this dream usually means that you have missed out on an important opportunity in your real life. This dream often occurs when you are struggling over an important decision", explains Dr. Anuj.

Faulty machinery

Description: In the faulty machinery dream you dream of trying to operate some mechanical equipment while it malfunctions. Many such dreams involve telephones, with the dreamer having trouble dialing, getting disconnected or making a faulty connection. It can involve a lost Internet connection or a jammed or broken machine. Abhishek Srivastava, a web developer, says "I dream about the faulty connection most often. I can never dial the right number or get hold of the person I am trying to reach"

Interpretation: "This dream means that you are losing touch with reality or that a part of your body or mind is not functioning properly. You can also have such dream when you are feeling anxious about making a connection with another person in real life," says Dr. Anuj.

Lost or trapped

Description: In this dream you try to find your way out of an unknown territory such as a forest, city streets, a large building or any other maze-like structure. Another way this dream plays out involves you being trapped, buried alive, caught in a web or unable to move for some other reason. Ankur Srivastava, a bank employee says, "One recurring dream is of being on my way somewhere and taking a shortcut through a building. This turns into an endless series of stairs and doors that lead nowhere."

Interpretation: Dreaming about getting lost is very common and will usually occur when you are not able to decide on how to react to a certain situation in real life. "This type of dream will usually carry an element of fear or of frustration and it usually means that you are trapped in real life and you are unable to make the right choice," interprets Dr. Anuj.

Dreaming nudity

Description: In this type of dream you are in a state of undress, partial undress or inappropriate dress. For example you have gone to work wearing pyjamas. Occasionally you are the witness of another person who is naked while you are clothed. This is often accompanied by feelings of embarrassment and shame, but occasionally with the feeling of pride or freedom. Kumar Mohit, a software engineer, recalls "When I was young the most recurring dream was that I went to school wearing only pajamas and I am surprised that I still remember it"

Interpretation: As with all the dreams, the emotional tone of this one is important to the meaning. The meaning of this dream is that you are feeling exposed, awkward or you are afraid that you have revealed too much of yourself to someone who is not trustworthy. An interesting fact about this type of dream is that it occurs much more frequently in people who are involved in a wedding ceremony or event management in their real life. "Getting humiliated at the realisation that you are walking around naked in public, is often a reflection of your vulnerability or shamefulness. Finding yourself naked at work or in a classroom suggests that you are unprepared for a project at work or school. But if you are proud of your nakedness and not embarrassed or ashamed then it symbolises your unrestricted freedom", explains Dr. Anuj.

Auxiliary Copy Not Running

Problem: Auxiliary copy not running properly in Commvault Galaxy
Error: While accessing a drive the Serial Number obtained is different from expected Serial Number.

Change before the problem arise: None

Now, there are several possibilities for the error.
1: One or more of the drives from the library were replaced but after replacing a drive they were not updated on media agent using "Library and drive configuration"
2: Media agent is not avaialble
3: Drive is not working / marked offline / faulty

Possible Solution for 1:
- Suspend all Jobs
- Stop the media agent services on all media agents
- Go to Control Panel > Library and drive configuration > Select all Media agents > Run Detection on all media agents.

This will update all the drive serial numbers and register them with comcell. Now if any of the drives were replaced, they will be updated in comcell.

Now, resume all the jobs. If you still get the same error then kill that job and initiate another job. Even after initiating a new job, you get the same error then try the work around in 2.

Possible work around for 2:

Keep in mind that all jobs should be suspended at this time but all the media agent services should be working.

This is when you find that media agent on which the library is supposed to be "seen" i.e. the media agent which controls the library is unavailable.

- Try to change the library controller to another media agent
Comcell > Storage Resources > Media agents > Expand"Avaialbe Media agent" > select the library > Right click > Properties > Library controller > Change > Select the alternative library controller > Reset controller.

- Go to Policies > Storage Policies > Select the Policy for which you are running an auxilary copy > Right click > Properties > Data Path > Add > Add the datapath which is the library controller you just selected in the previous step.
- Mark the new datapath as default
- remove the old data path
- kill the current auxiliary copy job
- start new auxiliary copy job
- make sure that it selected "new" library controller(the one you just selected) as the controller for the job.

This will resolve the issue.

The only solution for 3:

- Replace the drive and follow the solution for 1:

There are few other possibilities depending on the errors you receive, if you need more details then feel free to drop me a comment with details, I will be happy to help if I can.


PS: The problem I discovered while trying to resolve this issue is the library was lost from SAN path because of the HBA being disabled by the admin team on the media agent that was the data path for the auxiliary copy, i.e. Possible Case 1.

SQL Backup Failure - Commvault Galaxy

Problem: SQL Restore fails using Commvault Galaxy
Client Platform: Windows 2003 Server (64 Bit), SQL 2005
Error: Authentication Error
Change before the problem arise: Change in SQL admin account Password

Solution:

Commvault needs to use SQL Admin user name and password in order to work with the agent. This id and password is from the client side. The commvault Galaxy has a bug and it does not interact well with good passwords with symbols like £ $ % ^ & *. So make sure your SQL Admin account password does not contain any of the characters. Eg: P@$5w0rD <<< Wont work. Pa55w0rd <<< will work

How to find it:

In Comcell GUI > Client Computers > Client name > SQL Server > DB Instance > Properties > Accounts

Gold prices in INR per gram

Hey guyz,

I was recently looking for live gold price gadgets on google and I coudnt really find the one I wanted. I wanted per gram price in INR (Indian rupees). I came across this website which is really good and I used it to check the gold prices everyday. But then I really started to get annoyed having to click it again and again to check the prices. Then I thought let me take some self help. I created this gadget for my iGoogle page. You should check it out, it updates along with your iGoogle page and its quite handy for us as we dont need to go through the conversions from per ounce or from USD to INR etc conversions.

I will improve the gadget once I get sometime with more options and currencies.

Organize Music Library

Organize playlist, iPod playlist, iTunes Playlist, ID3 Tags, Music File Information, Organize music library with ID3 Tags

Ever wondered looking at your iPod or WMP /iTunes / Winamp playlist why the hell it doesn't display the correct information about Artist / Album / Song name/ Track Number etc ??Go on, read further and find out more about what's the problem and how to solve it. Organize your music with a little help of official free download software.

So, Here are few of the reasons why it doesn't show correct information especially for Bollywood / Hindi songs and South Asian pop / music albums.

- Pirated Music Tracks (the biggest issue)
- Downloaded from websites, who modify the tags and put their web address as info for their publicity
- Incorrectly ripped songs
- Inappropriate format conversion
- Copied from Torrents

These are some of the common reasons behind the incorrect tags. Let me try and bust the jargon first

Q: What are ID3 Tags? or What is Tag in music files
A: Tags are the information about the song. Artist, Album, Composer, Year, Track number, etc. So in simple words its personal information for the song you listen to. More information on Wiki

Q: What is rip / ripping (songs)?
A: Rip is converting / burning music from CD format to mp3 or WMA or other supported format as per the software you use. More information on Wiki

Q: What is Software?
A: Buy yourself some life if you ask this question.

Q: What is iTunes / Winamp / WMP?
A: iTunes is Apple Computer's Music software that plays, arrange, update your music file. Its free for download here.
Winamp is a freeware does the same job as iTunes but in a different way. Again its available for free download here.
WMP is Windows Media Player built in to Microsoft Windows. Its bundled software and upgrades are available for download here.

So here is what you need to do in order to update the tags. Earlier I used to use iTunes to manually modify the tags on each song which took ages for me to do it but though I could not do it for all of them for all the information. Still, I was determined to organize my music in order to get the maximum ease of use for my new iPod.

To manually modify the ID3 tags using iTunes, follow this process.

1. Open iTunes
2. Go to Library
3. Right Click on the song and select "Get Information"

4. You can modify the song information here from the 2nd Tab.

Its much easier to do it when you are updating your library with couple of albums as you can sort out the song list by :

1. Adding only one album at a time
2. Sort it by "Date Added"
3. Right click on first file follow the manual process and modify info
4. Click on next instead of closing it and it will select the next song on the list.

So you are already in a trauma that it will take ages to get this done ?? don't worry about it, that's where the next process comes to help us.

1: Download Winamp here

2: Follow the instructions for installation of Winamp
3: Once winamp is installed, start it and play few songs for test

After these steps you are ready to begin the real work. Now this is not going to be as simple as clicking and follow, its a bit difficult then that. But don't let the put you off, I have simplified the process for beginners.

1. Open Winamp
2. Add songs from one album or as many as 20 songs in the playlist
3. Select all the songs, right click and choose option Send to > Auto Tag

4. This will add all the songs to Auto Tag plug-in of Winamp which is built in, it will start to analyze and query them to the server and find out the tag information.

5. After all of them are queried and has results, it will display the results in "pan" below the list of the songs. Carefully select the songs to apply changes as its 95% accurate not 100%.

In order to optimize the results, modify the tags manually with at least one information in the tags. This is essential for those songs which has only numbers and no album or artist information at all. Those songs downloaded from webs mostly has some info followed by the url which is auto corrected by winamp quite easily.

After this is done, and you apply changes. You can skip the next step or follow it for making your music extremely organised.

You need to download ID3 TagIT and install it. Please follow instructions mentioned on the web for the software.

Once you have the software downloaded and installed. Here is what you need to do.

1. Start ID3 TagIT
2. Select songs from one album or as many as 20 songs
3. Select how you want to rename the songs, E.g.: Artist - Album - title, title - Album, title - album - artist.
4. Apply changes, this will rename all your songs as per your preference. I personally do it with title - Album. Which makes it extremely easy to find them using Windows search, Linux find, iPod and other music files.

After all these efforts, you will have the most organized music library and you will thank yourself for this.

Now, you guyz are wondering why is that I have posted this here ??? So let me tell you why ....

Just when I thought of the dialogue, I googled it immediately and got it but that reminded me of something ...

It reminded me of a day in my life. So it was an evening in the year 1996, I remember every bit of it. I was very young and studying in Grade 7 (Standard 7). A friend of mine invited me to his house to spend some time and may be chill out after the tutions. It was holiday the next day and I had nothing to do as usual (hated studies) so I went to his house. Now, ever since he was young he was very much into music and stuffs. So, he pulled up a casset player into his bed room, pulled up this new tape by Bally Sagoo, and made me listen to this song. We listened to this song for atleast 6 - 7 times.

Boom!!!! what happend we dont know but we decided to speak the dialogue ourself ... we obviously didnt remember the dialogue even after listening to it for so many times. So what do we do???

Idea!!!! Lets keep playing the tape, repete and listen to the song again and again to write down the dialogue. We started doing it, and was thinking instead of listening to the whole song we should rewind few times and note down the dialogue. Holly cow!!! we screwed up the casset, and the player both. The thing stopped playing completely, and the casset wont even move ... We were scared till death as he was strictly warned not to play with the tape and spoil it. But hey, we were kids and obviously devil's dominating ... we simply put the player and casset back to where it was in his living room and sliped out of the house.

I remember the incident very well, we laughed a lot after that no doubt. But I guess he had to confess later on that he screwed up, thank God I was saved ....

So ... I still I think somtimes .... i.e. Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein bhi khayal aata hai ... ke woh kya din the ... wah wah ...
